Started by hiking to Mossy Cave in the lower part of Bryce Canyon.........it was again, beautiful. Sunnnnny,warm...striking.
Followed the Tropic Creek to a waterfall
passing spring flowers along the way
Walking below hoodoos with windows
So we climbed up to them
We walked to Mossy Cave (eh , nothing special), so we stripped down and ambled up the next ridge
where it was was very windy, but very cool
On the way back we discovered a little critter
When we got back, it was time to leave Bryce (wah) and head north through the ranch country.
Surrounded by snow capped mountains, these gorgeous, flat valleys were pocked with bulls, mothers with calves and horse ranches. We wound around and through gulches, over mountains, back in lush valleys, followed the course of brooks, passed wind swept lakes and meandered along until we reached I-15.
Then we headed back to Temecula, (crossing Utah, Arizona, Nevada and into California).
Overall, the drove over 500 miles (yeow!) and arrived back at Sharons' at 9:00PM PST.
(Whew)
The reason..............
The reason..............
Cesar, at California Westys, says the Westfalia will be ready Thursday afternoon.
The adventure re-begins..............
The hardest part of your trip will be deciding which photos to print and frame.....

Headed for Flagstaff, hopefully cooler,,,for the vans sake.
We did the horseback ride into Bryce on a spur of the moment a few years ago. I had on shorts (not a smart move) but didn't feel the pain because of the beauty around me.
